What does gas lift bed mean?

It is used in bed base system. It enables the plinth cover to be opened 30 degrees with the help of a gas spring. Gas springs between 300 and 1200 newtons are used. When the plinth cover is opened, the lock system is automatically activated and the plinth cover does not close. To close the cover, it is lifted up 10 cm and the door is closed by disabling the lock.
